GREEK CONCEPTS LIKE CHIASMUS, ZEUGMA, EPANALEPIS, ANITHESIS AND HYPERBOLE.
CHIASMUS (ki AZ mus)- Alters the meaning of images with choices of structure. This can also change the flow and emphasis of a piece of writing.
Example: The runaway colt galloped across the field into the woods.
CHIASMUS Flip: Across the field into the woods galloped the runaway colt." - Noden

ZEUGMA (ZOOG muh)- Mixes contrasting images in a parallel structure, usually at the end of a sentence. (Used in The Great Gatsby and The Lion King)
Example: "Yes, our teeth and ambitions are bared." ~ Scar, The Lion King

EPANALEPIS ( e pa na LEP sis)- Ending a sentence with the same word for an hour glass feeling. (Usually used in commercial)
Example: "Always low prices. Always." - Walmart.

ANITHESIS (an TITH e sis)- Juxtaposing two ideas using identical sentence structures.
Example: "If you LOVE the book, you'll HATE the movie." - Noden

HYPERBOLE (hi PER bowl ee)- Exaggerating an image to emphasize a point.
